Hot Take🔥: Hydration=Compassion

Updated: Oct 21, 2019

Long time no hot take. Welcome back.

The take here is that staying hydrated ultimately makes you a more compassionate person.

If you don't want to seem completely cold and heartless, you should probably drink the suggested 8 glasses of water a day.

Because if you don't drink water, then you can't physically cry when something sad happens, which would just harden your emotions until you eventually become cold and heartless. No offense or anything to those who don't drink water.

According to a 2013 survey done by the CDC, 7% of Americans drink zero cups of water per day. That means that there are 22,904,000 cold and heartless people in America, which probably won't be that surprising.

According to a White Coat Trainer post, if you are thirsty, you are dehydrated and you must drink more water. Bunch of geniuses over there at White Coat.

As the genius Maren Wilkinson once put it, "Drinking water makes you a better and more compassionate person so you can truly mourn with those who mourn by crying."
